Day 1 Friday, 20th March 2026: Marrakech

Salaam Alaikum, welcome to Marrakech! Your adventure officially begins with a welcome meeting at 6 PM.
If you arrive early, take the opportunity to explore Djamaa el-Fna Square, a vibrant hub of street performers, market stalls, and local delicacies.

Day 2 Saturday 21st March 2026: Marrakech

After breakfast, dive into the soul of Marrakech with a guided walking tour led by a knowledgeable local expert.
Wander through the labyrinthine alleys of the medina, where vibrant souks overflow with spices, textiles, and handcrafted treasures. Your guide will introduce you to the rich history and culture of the city, from the iconic Koutoubia Mosque to the bustling Jemaa el-Fnaa square.
Along the way, pause to sample aromatic Moroccan spices, sip traditional coffee in a tucked-away cafรฉ, and learn about the centuries-old traditions that shape daily life here.

Day 3 Sunday 22nd March 2026: Casablanca

After breakfast, leave behind the vibrant streets of Marrakech and journey north to Casablanca, Moroccoโs largest and most modern city. Upon arrival, settle into your accommodation and take some time to rest and refresh.
In the afternoon, head to one of the city’s most breathtaking landmarks, the Hassan II Mosque.
Perched dramatically on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, this architectural marvel is one of the largest mosques in the world and a symbol of Moroccan craftsmanship and spiritual devotion. If timing allows, join a guided tour to admire its intricate mosaics, towering minaret, and serene prayer halls.
As the sun sets, enjoy a quiet evening by the Corniche or at a local cafรฉ.

Day 4 Monday 23rd March 2026: Tangier – Chefchaouen


This morning, set off for the coastal city of Tangier, a vibrant hub with deep historical ties to the Mediterranean and a key gateway to the African continent.
Begin with a short orientation walk led by your guide, then enjoy some leisure time to discover the cityโs charm.
You might want to stop by Cafรฉ Hafa, a legendary spot perched above the sea, known for hosting stars like Sean Connery, The Beatles, and The Rolling Stones. Sip mint tea while gazing out toward Gibraltar.
Later in the day, travel by private transfer to Chefchaouen. Tucked into a broad valley between two peaks in the Rif Mountains, Chefchaouen was largely rebuilt by Andalusian exiles fleeing the Reconquista.
Join your guide for an orientation walk and make your way to a scenic viewpoint to catch the sunset over the blue-hued town.
In the evening, if you’re in the mood for a snack, the local goat cheese is a beloved delicacy.

Today is yours to enjoy in Chefchaouen.
You can join a guided tour through the medina, soaking in its vibrant colours, lively atmosphere, and fragrant spice stalls. Or simply relax at a cafรฉ in Plaza Uta el-Hammam and try some of the local specialities โ the fresh orange juice is especially refreshing!
If you’re feeling adventurous, consider heading into the hills for a scenic hike and picnic. One popular option is the trek to Akchour Falls, a stunning natural escape in the Rif Mountains, where rivers and waterfalls weave through lush greenery.
As evening falls, you could treat yourself to a traditional tagine at a cosy local restaurant or unwind at a hammam, a classic Moroccan steam bath. The night is yours to spend as you wish.

Day 6 Wednesday 25th March 2026: Moulay Idriss


This morning, start your day with a relaxed breakfast before setting off on a scenic drive through the countryside to the revered village of Moulay Idriss.
Wander through the medina of this historic town and get a glimpse into the rhythms of traditional Moroccan life. Visit the sacred site where pilgrims come to honour Moulay Idriss, the great-grandson of the Prophet Mohammed, who introduced Islam to Morocco.
As the sun sets, take in sweeping views across the plains of Volubilis below. Tonight, settle into a warm and inviting local guesthouse, where your host will prepare a generous home-cooked meal. Share stories over dinner and gain a deeper appreciation for their way of life a truly memorable cultural experience.

Day 7 Thursday, 26th March 2026: Volubilis – Fes


Today, set out on a guided visit to the UNESCO-listed ruins of Volubilis once a distant outpost of the Roman Empire.
Perched on the edge of a sweeping plateau, the siteโs impressive remains offer a striking glimpse into ancient history. Wander through the hilltop ruins as your local guide shares stories and insights into the cityโs past.
Afterwards, travel to Meknes, where youโll have some free time to explore the cityโs highlights at your own pace. In the afternoon, continue on to Fes, your base for the next two nights.
Fes is Moroccoโs oldest imperial city and the most complete medieval city in the Arab world. Revered as the countryโs spiritual and cultural capital, itโs a perfect place to gather with your group for an optional dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 8 Friday 27th March 2026: Fes

Today, embark on a guided walking tour through the heart of Fes el Bali, the Old City of Fes.
Step into a living museum of the Middle Ages as you navigate the medinaโs maze of narrow alleys, bustling souks, artisan workshops, and centuries-old mosques. Watch donkeys weave through the crowds with goods piled high. This is one of the largest car-free urban areas in the world.
Explore the medinaโs distinct quarters, each dedicated to a different craft or trade. Visit the beautifully restored Medersa Bou Inania, now open to visitors, and admire the intricate architecture of Medresse el Attarine and the historic Funduq al-Najjarin.
You’ll also stop by the famous tannery for a classic view over the colourful dye pits and visit a ceramics workshop to see traditional pottery in the making.
The afternoon is yours to explore further. This evening, consider sampling Moroccan Favourites like harira (a spiced chickpea soup) or pastilla, a savoury pie filled with chicken and couscous.

Day 9 Saturday 28th March 2026: Midelt
This morning, leave behind the historic charm of Fes and journey southeast toward Midelt, a peaceful town nestled between the Middle and High Atlas Mountains.
Known for its cool climate and scenic surroundings, Midelt offers a refreshing change of pace. Upon arrival, settle into your accommodation and take time to relax after the drive.
The rest of the day is free for you to enjoy at your own pace, perhaps taking a gentle walk through the town, admiring the mountain views, or simply unwinding with a book. Mideltโs quiet atmosphere provides the perfect setting to recharge before continuing your Moroccan adventure.

Day 10 Sunday 29th March 2026: Merzouga

Today, your journey takes you deeper into Moroccoโs dramatic landscapes as you head toward Merzouga, a gateway to the vast and mesmerising Sahara Desert. As the terrain shifts from rocky plateaus to golden dunes, the anticipation builds.
Upon arrival, prepare for a truly unforgettable experience a camel trek into the heart of the Erg Chebbi dunes. With the sun beginning to dip below the horizon, ride your camel across the sweeping sands, soaking in the silence and beauty of the desert.
Arrive at your desert camp in time to watch the sunset paint the dunes in fiery hues. Enjoy a traditional dinner under the stars, accompanied by some local music around the campfire.

Day 11 Monday 30th March 2026: Todra Gorge

After breakfast, continue your journey through Moroccoโs stunning landscapes as you head toward Todra, nestled at the edge of the High Atlas Mountains.
Upon arrival, visit the awe-inspiring Todra Gorge, a dramatic canyon carved by the Todra River, with towering limestone cliffs that rise to 300 meters. Take time to explore the gorge on foot, marvelling at its sheer scale and natural beauty.
Later, enjoy a special cultural experience with a traditional Amazigh (Berber) brunch, prepared by locals and served in a welcoming village setting. Savour regional flavours while learning about Amazigh customs and daily life.

Day 12 Tuesday 31st March 2026: Marrakech


This morning, set off for the iconic Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed ksar nestled along the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech.
Upon arrival, join your leader for a guided walk through the ancient, fortified village, where you will explore its maze of earthen buildings and learn about its historical significance and cinematic fame.
After the walk, enjoy a meaningful lunch at Tawesna, a riverside cafรฉ run by a local womenโs cooperative, where your meal supports community development and sustainable tourism.
In the afternoon, begin the scenic drive back to Marrakech, crossing the dramatic Tizi nโTichka pass through the High Atlas Mountains.
Once in Marrakech, settle into your accommodation and enjoy a free evening to relax or explore the cityโs vibrant streets.

A progress payment of $1,000 AUD will be due 6 months prior to the tour commencement date, with the final balance of your tour due 3 months prior to the tour commencement date.

What if I need to cancel?
We completely understand that plans can change, and we want to ensure you feel supported if that happens. Hereโs how cancellations work.
If you need to cancel your spot:
- More than 56 days before departure โ Your $500 deposit will be held as a credit to use on a future trip.
- Between 55 and 31 days before departure, your $500 deposit is non-refundable.
- 30 days or less before departure โ Unfortunately, weโre unable to refund any payments due to the commitments already made for the trip.
- If you donโt show up on the day, this will be treated as a cancellation, and we will be unable to provide a refund.
We always recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance as soon as you book, in case something unexpected arises and you need to cancel. It truly offers peace of mind.

FAQs
Do I need to be super fit?
Not at all! Most activities involve moderate walking. If youโre comfortable walking for 1โ2 hours at a time (with breaks), youโll be fine.
Is there a lot of moving around?
Yes – this is a point-to-point journey across Morocco. But transport and accommodation are all arranged for you, and thereโs plenty of downtime along the way.
Can I come solo?
Absolutely! Most of our guests travel solo and love the chance to connect with others in a small, welcoming group.
Will I have free time?
Yes! Each stop includes free time for exploring, relaxing, shopping or just soaking it all in.
Can I extend my trip?
